PROVISIONAL HIGHLAND EXAMINATION
The Candidate will be at least 15 years old.

PRACTICAL
The Highland Steps performed will be chosen by the Candidate:

Highland Fling - 4 Steps
Sword Dance - 3 Slow and 1 Quick
Seann Triubhas - 4 Slow and 2 Quick
Reel - Candidates Choice

THEORY
Full knowledge of the Provisional Syllabus and in addition to describe and demonstrate:

All positions and movements as per Chapter 1 of SOBHD Book
Introduction and Bar 1 of:

Highland Fling
Sword Dance
Seann Triubhas
Strathspey
